About Naturalight Photography

Amber Gardener- Professional Photographer - over 10 years experience in Professional Photography.

" My career began in the retail camera industry.I studied cameras and how to achieve the best result using them.I create fun, romantic and whimsical imagery with that feminine"eye for detail" beauty. 1996 Naturalight Photography was born....I was a freelance photojournalist for a prominent newspaper in Melbourne, where I enjoyed a broad assortment of photo opportunities. I am the resident photographer at The Bays Hospital, Mornington & The Peninsula Private, Langwarrin capturing memories of the newborn babies, in their first days of life. I am a relaxed and young person creating modern, stylish and "with it" images that will reflect your true personality and character.

Something to think about:

I hear horror stories of couples who have opted for a photographer based on price or for a relative or friend who is "pretty good with a camera". Choosing a photographer IS an important desicion!!
After the dress is hung, the cake has been eaten and the confetti blown away, YOU are the ones who have to live with the photographic memories.Important Questions to ask your prospective Wedding Photographer; * How long have you been in business? * How many weddings have you covered? * Ask to view photos that your prospective photographer has shot- not offsiders or contracted photographers.* Can I see more than 50 photographic examples from one particular wedding?
* Will you be my photographer or an apprentice?

In the end it depends on how seriously you take your wedding day, your ability to relax and enjoy your day, that will make for some FANTASTIC photographs.

Feel free to peruse my Wedding Galleries, you will notice my brides look beautiful, relaxed and natural. WHY? Because, they have chosen the RIGHT photographer for them.

I have a preference for film:

There is a place for digital. However, I still choose to shoot film - I create natural images, as I see them, as it happens and as any good photographer will do, take into account the lighting, the environment surrounding and the subject's looks. Therefore what you see in the photo is what appears on the negative, when you do receive your negatives, you can get a direct print off the negative and know that the results will match your original.

I use and reccommend:

" You are the star. I will make you shine "
